successful event is to have a big hall where
we can have training and competition in the same
building and from that point of view this is an
excellent venue for Teamgym. Lots of space and
good view for the audience who can sit around the
whole arena watching the teams performing"

If I compare this event with a lot of Teamgym
competitions which started in 1996 in
Finland, if you look at this venue I can say that this
is the best one we have had. What is very important
is to have a short distance between the hotels and
the venue and here in Laugardalur we have all the
hotels within short walking distance"

This successful 4 day gymnas c compe on took place in
the largest indoor mul purpose sports arena in Iceland;
Laugardalshöll. 680 compe tors in 42 teams from 14
countries came together in their quest to become the best
in Europe, followed with over 1000 supporters, family and
friends. Team Gymnas cs is one of the fastest growing
events within the gymnas c family and is enjoying
increasing popularity in Europe.
