ELDBORG Eldborg is HARPA´s largest hall capable of seating up to 1,600 GUESTS. The name Eldborg which translates from Icelandic as „Fire Castle" has a stunning red décor suitable for a hall that got its name from one of Ice- land´s most recognised volcanic crater. The hall is well suited for interna- tional conferences and lectures with state of the art sound system, lighting as well as interpretation booths. SILFURBERG Silfurberg, is a large conference that can accommodate up to 750 SEATED GUESTS. The stage is movable and expandable. The hall can be divided into two parts with a soundproofed retractable partition. The hall is specially designed as a conference hall and features the best available technological equipment. The acoustics are adapted to the spoken word and are configurable. KALDALÓN Kaldalón, the smallest hall in the building, is well suited for all types lec- tures, conferences and meetings. The stage is movable, and the floor can also be used as a stage for lecturers. The seats are stationary, and the floor slopes down to the stage. The hall can accommodate 195 SEATED GUESTS. The reverberation time in the hall can be changed, thus making it adaptable for various types of events. NORÐURLJÓS Norðurljós is a spacious hall that offers various possibilities for confer- ences, receptions, and other events. Norðurljós can accommodate 450 SEATED GUESTS or 750 standing guests. The hall is equipped with cus- tom-designed lighting equipment that can be configured in a number of coloured themes, creating the most suitable atmosphere. There are balconies all around the perimeter of the hall, and the stage is movable. MEETING ROOMS AND EXHIBITION SPACES Harpa special meeting rooms are of various sizes, the largest being Ríma seating 120 people. Ríma can be separated into two with a moveable wall. Additionally there are two meeting rooms, Vísa and Stemma that can be divided into four rooms. Flói is a beautiful reception area with a fantastic view of the harbour. It is a total of 1.500 m2 and is perfect for both exhibitions and receptions. Eyri is a 450 m2 exhibition area which features a stunning view that can be used both for exhibitions, meetings, presentations and receptions.
