There are several conference hotels and
venues but the most prominent display of
the city's corporate courtship is the newly
built Harpa, a combo concert hall and con-
vention centre that opened May 2011. Harpa
won the MICE award 2012 as the Best
Conference Venue in Northern Europe and
the prestigious European Union Prize for
Contemporary Architecture, Mies van der
Rohe award 2013.
If you are looking for unusual sites for
creative and memorable meetings and events
there are several options but the Blue Lagoon,
Reykjavík Art Museum and Videy island all
provide great surroundings. Challenges and
