In 2018, Meet in Reykjavík signed a partnership agreement with six universi es in Iceland, including all universi es located in the capital city of Reykjavik. On 9 April, an agreement was signed between Meet in Reykjavík and the University of Iceland (HÍ), Reykjavík University (HR) and the Iceland University of the Arts (LHÍ). The object of the agreement is to increase the number of interna onal academic mee ngs and conferences held by universi es in Iceland. On 11 September, Meet in Reykjavík signed an agreement with Bifröst University, Hólar University College and the Agricultural University of Iceland. The object of the agreement is to increase the number of interna onal academic mee ngs and conferences held by universi es in Iceland. Meet in Reykjavík will assist the staff of the universi es and their collaborators in prepara ons, informa on collec on and contract prepara ons for interna onal mee ngs and conferences, involving the universi es in some respect. In addi on, Meet in Reykjavík will provide informa on and hold presenta ons on the mee ng and conference facili es of the universi es for interna onal associa ons and organisers of mee ngs and conferences.
