INFORMATION
Whales of Iceland is an exhibi on located in the heart of Reykjavík's old harbour area. Close to downtown, this is truly an
otherworldly venue. On display at Whales of Iceland are 23 life-size whale models of species found in Icelandic waters. These
range from one of the smallest marine mammals, the harbour porpoise, all the way up to the gigan c blue whale. Wander
amongst these amazing animals while listening to their dis nc ve sounds in ambient ligh ng that will make you feel as
though you are underwater. The venue has hosted cocktail par es, breakfast business mee ngs, incen ve gatherings and a
variety of small gatherings Whales of Iceland is 1.700 square metres (18,300 sq. .) and is licensed for 500 guests in standing
recep on. Depending on table configura on, approximately 200 guests can be seated in the main sec on, beneath the giant
baleen whales. The exhibi on is one large space that is sec oned off to highlight the different species of whales. We work
closely with caterers to provide for any needs.
